Regarding the priorities of reforms, Erdogan said: “The first area in our reforms is to create a more robust public finance structure in the face of risks,” explaining that new policies will be implemented in the public sector and partnerships between the public and private sectors.
He pointed out that the problems facing international investors with regard to taxes were also included in the reforms, and that fighting inflation and reducing its level to the individual levels is a top priority for the government.
He also indicated that a new law would be prepared that would accelerate the development of the participatory financing sector.
Regarding the performance of the Turkish economy in 2020, Erdogan said: “We achieved an economic growth of 1.8 percent last year despite the repercussions of the Corona virus.”
