Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Kujah announced, on Friday, that it had been decided to suspend flights with Brazil “temporarily”, due to the increase in the number of infections with the new Corona strain in this country.
In a tweet on Twitter, the Turkish minister explained that his country had previously temporarily suspended flights with Britain, Denmark and South Africa for the same reason.
Koca stressed that Turkey has temporarily suspended flights with Brazil due to the increase in cases of the new strain of Corona virus on its soil.
As of Friday evening, Brazil had recorded 8 million 699 thousand and 814 cases of Coronavirus, according to the “World Meter” website.
According to experts, the spread of the new Corona strain is 70 percent faster than the original strain.
