The Turkish Minister of Health, Fakhruddin Kuja, expressed his regret over the pictures that show the state of overcrowding that he witnessed on the day of the funeral of the modern scientist Mehmed Amin Sarac, and in which there is a lack of commitment to social distancing.
Koca admonished that, “Everyone knows very well how the new Corona virus is infected and the developments of the virus during the pandemic, and that the infection of the virus is increasing in crowded and closed places, which is what the authorities have worked to this day to clarify,” according to what Turkish newspaper “Zaman” reported.
The Turkish Minister of Health added, “I did not expect that social distancing and the occurrence of such a scene would be ignored during the funeral. I had to expect this, so I offer a strong apology to the citizens for this scene.”
