Urgent health warnings have been issued for New South Wales – after fragments of coronavirus were found in the wastewater of two suburbs – and in Victoria after a Covid case visited a Melbourne primary school.
NSW Health announced on Saturday morning that virus fragments were discovered in Allambie Heights, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and in Merimbula, on the NSW South Coast.
While Victorian health authorities have instructed staff of the Caulfield South Primary School, along with students and parents, to self-isolate after a Covid close contact was identified at the school.
