Two teenagers have died and two others are fighting for their lives in a crash near Exeter on early Thursday morning.
Police were called to a back country road at Haldon near Exeter, Devon, at 01.20am after a single vehicle crash involving a silver Peugeot 107.
The 18-year-old male driver and a 16-year-old female passenger died at the scene.
Two other passengers – a 16-year-old youth and 14-year-old girl – are in a critical condition.
A fifth person – a 16-year-old passenger – was also injured but not seriously hurt.
Police are appealing for any witnesses and those with information to come forward by calling 101 quoting log 49 of August 8th 2024.

Sgt Phil Brown, from the serious collisions investigation team, said anyone with relevant dashcam footage should come forward.
He said: ‘Our thoughts are with the families following this tragic incident,’ he said.
‘We understand the community will be concerned about this incident involving young members of our community.
‘I wish to reassure the public that specialist officers are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision and would particularly like to speak to any witnesses who we have not yet spoken to.’
The names of the dead and injured teenagers have not been disclosed.
The next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
