Shocking dashcam footage has captured a horror collision between two trucks that had been driving through a thick cloud of smoke.
The trucks had been travelling along the Albany Highway near Williams, south-east of Perth, about 3pm on Thursday when one rear-ended the other in dramatic fashion.
One of the trucks was pictured slowing down to drive to the conditions after a nearby fire shrouded the highway in smoke.
Within a matter of seconds the truck behind it ploughed right into the back of the vehicle in front – sending a trailer soaring into the sky.

A police car and a firefighting unit on both sides of the road narrowly avoided the trailer flying through the air as both trucks came to an abrupt stop.
Williams Police confirmed that miraculously there were no serious injuries from the crash.
‘Police, farmers and shire workers narrowly avoided disaster today as two trucks collided on the Albany Highway near Williams,’ they wrote after sharing the video online.
‘Smoke across the road caused poor visibility contributing to the collision.’
The highway had to be closed in both directions while the crash site was attended to.
Police warned motorists to be careful when driving in hazardous conditions.
