BTS is a South Korean boy band consisting of the members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Formed in 2013, this pop sensation took the globe by storm with the release of the 2016 album ‘Wings’. It is their rags-to-riches story as well as genre-bending music that has won over many hearts around the globe; they are a humongous ARMY and various celebrities are fans.
Tyrese Gibson, an American actor-singer, just added his name to the list of growing fans for K-pop group BTS. The ‘Fast & Furious’ star posted two pictures on his Instagram account on December 30 of Jungkook, the youngest of BTS members. In a caption on the pictures, Tyrese wrote, “I didn’t know……. But I know now.:…. Cheers to you on the talent, voice and textures…. @jungkook97.offcial. Unfortunately, he has incorrectly tagged the wrong account, for Jungkook deleted his Instagram profile back in 2023, before setting up a new one to keep for his pet dog Bam. Even with the wrong tag, fans loved seeing Tyrese appreciate Jungkook’s talent and flocked to the comments section. One of them wrote, “Jungkook is the next big thing. He just started his solo career, and people are really appreciating him.” Another added, “He is perfect at everything: artist, singer, dancer, composer, producer, and as a person with amazing character. Our Jungkook is one of a kind.”
This wasn’t a feeling that only a few people shared. Many fans actually said the same thing and commented, “Thanks Tyrese. Talent always recognises talent. Jungkook’s voice is very extraordinary.”
Jungkook is now 27 years old and is currently on his mandatory military service. He will be concluding his term early 2025. He went on to enlist after joining where he released his debut single as ‘Seven’ and put out his first solo album with the name ‘Golden’ of 11 tracks. According to Tyrese, Jungkook’s impact spreads out to a wider range across the globe being BTS’s individual and a solo artist.
