The BBC reported that the UK and France would draw up a plan to resume shipping after Johnson and Macron agreed on measures to reopen the French border.
The agency said, quoting French European Minister Clement Bonn, that the measures will take effect from Wednesday.
Yesterday, the French authorities banned entry to all arrivals from Britain for a period of 48 hours, and the French National Union of Road Transport announced that the situation has become catastrophic for truck drivers currently stranded in Britain after European countries cut off transport after fears of the new Corona strain.
