Hunt for monster who raped girl, 15, on a red jet ski after offering a ride and taking her out to deep waters – as other victims are urged to come forward

Beachgoers have been warned after a man on a jetski sexually assaulted a teenage girl at a Melbourne beach after offering to take her for a ride.
The 15-year-old girl was with a group of friends at the Altona Beach pier when a man on a red jet ski approached her about 6pm on November 27.
The girl accepted a ride, but when the man drove the watercraft a significant distance from the shore he then sexually assaulted her on the vehicle, Victoria Police said.

The victim was then returned to the beach, after which she alerted authorities.
Detectives from the Westgate Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team has received other reports of girls being targeted by a jet-ski rider in the Altona Beach area.
While detectives are yet to speak to other victims they believe the incident is not isolated and urge anyone with information to contact them.
The man was driving a red jet ski and is described as of Middle Eastern appearance with dark hair, a beard and aged in his early 30s.
Victoria Police have recently launched Operation Summersafe across popular beaches in Melbourne.
The operation will see a highly-visible increased police presence targeting anti-social and criminal behaviour.
