Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Al-Ansari:
- Qatar was and still believes that ending tension in the region is linked to ending the war in Gaza
- We have repeatedly emphasized that the best way to deal with disputes with Iran is through dialogue
- Mediation efforts are continuing in Gaza, and much of the information published is false
- In cooperation with France, we brought about 11 tons of medical aid into Gaza, including medicines for Israeli hostages
- We support all regional efforts aimed at reducing the escalation in the Red Sea
- We stress that there must be a real push towards a peace process that has the Palestinian issue at its core
- The disruption of communication within Gaza and the failure to deliver aid to the Strip affect mediation efforts
- We are engaged in serious negotiations and discussions between the two sides of the crisis in Gaza, but the situation is changing there
- The escalation taking place in Gaza affects mediation efforts to end the crisis
- Aid entered Gaza only in a very limited manner, and only one hospital currently operates in the Strip
- The continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip will only lead to more losses
- The challenges in resolving the crisis in Gaza are great, especially with the escalation of the war there
- We renew our call to the international community to pressure Israel to open the crossings for sufficient aid to enter Gaza
