Lovely Warren, Mayor of Rochester, New York, has issued an arrest warrant for police officers involved in pepper spraying a 9-year-old girl.
“What happened on Friday was simply horrific, and truly angered all of our community,” Warren said in a statement. “Unfortunately, state law and the union contract prevent me from taking more immediate and serious action.”
The “New York Times” newspaper reported that the city police of Rochester, New York State used pepper spray against a 9-year-old girl.

According to the newspaper, last Friday afternoon, the police received a call that indicated “family problems”.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found a 9-year-old girl, who threatened to kill herself and her mother.
City Deputy Police Chief Andre Anderson said that the girl initially sought to escape, when police tried to put her in the back seat of a police car to take her to the hospital, and Anderson added, while the child kicked a policeman.
