Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggested that 2020 will be the bloodiest year in US history, with the death rate reaching more than 3 million by the end of December.
The Associated Press reported that preliminary figures indicate that the United States will record at least 3.2 million deaths by the end of 2020, an increase of about 400,000 from 2019, most of which are caused by infection with the Coronavirus.
According to data collected by Johns Hopkins University, the United States has recorded more than 319,000 deaths in Corona as of Tuesday, and more than 18 million cases of the virus.
