On Monday, 322 lawmakers voted to drop Trump’s veto, 87 against.
The Senate is expected to vote on the bill final this week.
On December 23, the US President vetoed the bill passed by Congress earlier this month, which includes sanctions against Russia and Turkey.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized Trump’s veto, describing it as “a reckless act that harms the armed forces and endangers national security.”
Trump’s veto was expected, as he had threatened to use it more than once earlier, but Congress adopted the bill with more than two-thirds of the votes in each of its chambers, which suggested that he would be able to override the president’s veto.
It is worth noting that the draft law includes imposing sanctions on the “Northern Torrent-2” and “Turkish Torrent” projects implemented by Russia in cooperation with European countries and Turkey, in addition to sanctions against Turkey for its purchase of the Russian S-400 anti-air missile system.
