According to a monthly report issued by the US Energy Information Administration, US oil production increased by 692,000 barrels per day in November to 11.124 million barrels.
This is the first time that production has crossed the 11 million barrels per day mark since April 2020.
Meanwhile, demand for distillates such as diesel decreased 7.1 percent compared to the same period a year ago, and demand for gasoline decreased 13.3 percent.
