Users of the CDMX Metro report the separation of two wagons at the Polanco station

Meanwhile, elements of the National Guard and the Banking and Industrial Police (PBI), who were inside the station, immediately evacuated the platform. In the images that were disseminated on social networks, these elements are observed taking photographs of the place where the last two wagons were separated.

“The service is momentarily stopped on Line 7, a train is being evacuated for review. System personnel work on the spot,” reported the STC Metro through their social networks around 4:00 p.m.

Minutes later, on Twitter the STC He explained that Line 7 offers provisional service from Tacuba to El Rosario and from Barranca del Muerto to Tacubaya.

This incident occurred on the same day that the underground section of Metro Line 12 resumed operations, which remained closed for 20 months after the collapse of the elevated section near the Olivos station, which left 26 people dead.
