Bernard Tomic has it easier than many Australian Open players as he quarantines with his Love Island star girlfriend and will be allowed to train for five hours a day.
But like hundreds of other inbound travellers, the tennis star and Vanessa Sierra are battling the boredom of hotel confinement, the lack of fresh air, and the consistently unappetising menu.
Ms Sierra offered a minute-by minute account of the couple’s Melbourne quarantine stint, revealing they are playing video games for 11 hours a day when not training.
In a video posted to YouTube, the reality TV star said they were not allowed to leave their room in the three days since they arrived and had ditched the hotel’s food in favour of Uber Eats ‘because the food is s**t’.

‘There is literally zero fresh air and no balcony,’ Sierra said on Monday.
‘I played Pokemon for 11 hours straight yesterday and I think 12 hours straight the day before.
‘Bernard’s been playing World of Warcraft for about the same time I’ve been playing Pokemon. ‘It’s sort of all we’ve got as an option.’
Sierra said nobody cleaned their room, they didn’t get fresh sheets, and were forced to wash their dinner plates in the bathroom sink.
As Tomic is a vegan, and Sierra said the hotel food did not sufficiently cater to his dietary requirement so the couple spent $200-a-day on Uber Eats.
‘It’s real hit and miss, sometimes the food is good, sometimes it’s not, so we’d rather order our own food,’ she said.
Sierra said they ordered food after 10pm on Sunday night, only to be told food could not be delivered to rooms past that hour.
‘They didn’t tell us there were no deliveries past 10pm,’ she said.
‘We ordered like $60 worth of food, got delivered after 11pm and they refused to take it, so we weren’t allowed to eat our food.’

Sierra said Tomic’s training was cancelled ‘last minute’ after positive coronavirus cases were diagnosed on three other Australian Open charter flights.
All travellers on board the flights from the US, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, including 72 competitors, were forced into hard quarantine for 14 days.
‘The point of the bubble is you’re supposed to stay in the hotel room, during the day you’re allowed out to the training site, to the gym,’ Sierra said.
‘But there were a couple of positive Covid-19 cases on a couple of the planes and that’s pretty much delayed everything.
‘It’s really frustrating because we’re stuck in this room with no air, no training.
‘A lot of people are saying “it was your choice to travel and that’s why you’re in quarantine”; well we had to leave Australia to do the qualifying match, to play in the Australian Open.’
Sierra said they were forced to keep their curtains shut after paparazzi set up camp in the street outside their window, leaving them in a dark room without daylight.
Sierra said their training sessions were cancelled, leaving them only able to do ‘minimal yoga’ within the confined space. Pictured is the couple working out in Doha during qualification
She also expressed concerns about sharing such a small space with her tennis star boyfriend.
‘There is only one bathroom. I have never pooped in front of Bernard. I don’t know what I am going to do. I haven’t broken that barrier in the relationship yet, and I hope I don’t have to,’ she said.
‘Because it is pretty tight for space, we have only been doing minimal yoga.’
Despite the room’s limitations, Tomic has been making time to prepare for the Australian Open since the couple landed in Victoria last week.
After Tomic’s miraculous last-ditch qualification for the Grand Slam in Melbourne, the faded star is taking every opportunity to hone his skills for round 1.
The Australian player was seen on Sunday gripping an orange raquet through the window of his room at a Melbourne hotel, where he is staying with reality TV star turned OnlyFans girl Vanessa Sierra.

The 28-year-old shocked spectators by winning a spot in the Open by beating fellow Aussie John-Patrick Smith in his third and final qualifying match in Doha, Qatar, on Wednesday.
Tomic appeared deep in concentration as he rehearsed his moves ahead of the competition, which begins on February 8.
Sierra on Sunday night shared a video from inside their room as she flopped on to the bed, only to fall between the two twin bed that were pushed together.
‘Mandatory hotel quarantine is going great, hbu (how about you)?’ she wrote.

Last week, Sierra posted photos and videos to social media of herself accompanying her lover to Qatar to watch him play.
In a TikTok video, she said: ‘Bernard was so cute on the flight. He wanted us to watch the same movie at the exact same time, so he timed our screens perfectly.’
Despite flying in the comfort of business class, Vanessa described the trip as ‘such a long process’ because of restrictions cause by the coronavirus pandemic.
Sierra also shared a cosy photo of herself and Bernard on the plane, with her legs draped over his lap, captioning it: ‘First trip with my babyyyy.’

Another video showed the pair working out in their Doha hotel room together with Sierra holding Tomic’s while he stretched.
Vanessa debuted her relationship with Bernard in November, starring alongside the 26-year-old in an adult scene on OnlyFans.
On Thursday, she celebrated Tomic’s qualification in a playful Instagram video in which she appeared to be tying her shoes while holding the tennis pro’s orange racquet.
Tomic then asks her to pass his blue racket, and through a special effect she changes it’s colour by tapping it until it turns blue.
In the caption, she praised her boyfriend’s hard work on the court, writing: ‘Racquet got some special powers congrats to my babyyy on qualifying for the Aus open.’

Tomic shocked fans by declaring he could see himself playing professional tennis until his mid-30s.
The sportsman previously admitted he felt ‘trapped’ by tennis and would rather relax and live off his prize money.
But the ban on international travel due to the pandemic has reignited Tomic’s appreciation for his childhood sport.
After his showdown with Smith in Doha, Tomic said he felt he could still be cutting it at the top level for another seven years.
On his way to the top: Bernard’s successful qualification for the Australian Open – which will take place in Melbourne on February 8 – comes after he beat fellow Aussie John-Patrick Smith in his third and final qualifying match in Doha, Qatar

‘I didn’t get to see an aeroplane for like 10 months. That’s been the best thing,’ Tomic told AAP.
‘So I feel like now I’ve rested, I’m ready and I’ve given myself a chance to put in at least another, let’s say, four, five, six… seven years.’
‘I ain’t got to play to 38, 39 — there’s some guys out there playing at that age, there’s no chance that’s me.
‘But seven years done — 35? If I’m still top 50, top 100 then yeah, I’ll keep playing.’
He certainly sounds rejuvenated, even while admitting that he’s been struggling with a back issue during his two qualifying wins so far in the Qatari capital.
