In the video, one of the suspects claims the bike has ‘already been broke’ and had been abandoned ‘for years’.
However, the filmer tells the boys the bike couldn’t have been abandoned for years as it was ‘a 21-plate’.
Both youths, neither of whom were wearing helmets, deny stealing the bike before one of them manages to start the £2,500, 125cc Chinese scooter.
The pair try to make their getaway. But they lose control as they turn left after clipping the kerb and slide into the side of a parked car.

The remaining youth limps arond the road before sitting on the pavement and asking for someone to call him an ambulance because he had injured his finger.
The filmer responds by telling the suspect: ‘You deserve that, you b******!’
The second suspect manages to ride unsteadily in the direction of Stretford Road.
