Video .. The last appearance of Sistani while he received Pope Francis

In his latest video recording, the supreme religious authority in Iraq, Ali al-Sistani, appeared today, Saturday, while receiving Pope Francis, who is on a “historic” visit to the country.

In a short video clip, the Pope is shown passing a narrow alley in the city of Najaf, where Sistani resided, and entering a small house no more than seventy meters in area to meet the highest religious authority in Iraq.

Sistani appeared to receive Pope Francis in a visit described as “historic.”

This is Sistani’s latest video in over 15 years or more.
