Villarreal’s Europa League clash with Maccabi Tel Aviv is in serious doubt as a result of torrential rainfall hitting the Spanish city.
The LaLiga club confirmed on Thursday evening that their clash with their Group I opponents would be pushed back by half an hour as a result of the biblical weather in Spain.
There remains doubt whether the fixture, which is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 GMT, will go ahead. Villarreal have said that UEFA will determine whether the game will be played.
