VivaAerobus will open the AIFA-Tijuana route due to seasonal demand

With the intention of taking advantage of the winter vacation period, VivaAerobus reported that from December 14 to January 10, 2023, it will operate the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA)-Tijuana route, with a daily frequency, and on the same day it will also start its first international-regular flight to Havana, Cuba, with the same frequency.

“Now we are connecting Tijuana with the new airport and with the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), thus unfolding a range of options so that passengers can choose how it is most comfortable, agile and convenient for them to fly. Of course, always with the lowest prices and on the newest planes,” said the director of the ultra-low-cost airline, Juan Carlos Zuazua.

The route to AIFA-Tijuana is currently served by Volaris, which together with its operation to Cancun are the ones that have registered the highest demand at the air terminal.

With the announcement made this Thursday by VivaAerobus, by the end of December it will have added eight destinations (it already flies to Acapulco, Cancun, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca).

In addition, the airline already serves 10 routes to Tijuana, from: AICM, Cancún, Culiacán, Guadalajara, León, Morelia, Monterrey, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.

As the main attraction to go to the border destination, “VivaAerobus offers its passengers facilities so that they can take advantage of the Cross Border Xpress (CBX), the pedestrian bridge that connects the Tijuana Airport with San Diego, in order to cross the busiest border in the world. world quickly and safely.
