The three main stock indices of the US market have mixed performances this Wednesday morning. The Nasdaq recoiled beaten by the results of Microsoft y Alphabetwhile the Dow Jones rose fueled by Visa.
the tech giant Microsoft Corp reported that in the quarter its sales grew at the slowest rate in five years, while Alphabet Inc reported below-estimated ad sales and warned of a slowdown in advertising.
“Tech stocks are on track to deliver disappointing reports to the market as two of their biggest names reported lower-than-expected figures,” Ben Laidler, global strategist at eToro, explained in a report.
Visa shares soar 5.87% to a level of $205.79. This move came after the payment processor reported better-than-expected profits thanks to strong travel demand among consumers.
