The Emirates Civil Aviation Authority announced the reopening of airspace and the resumption of air traffic between the UAE and Qatar, starting tomorrow, Saturday.
The authority said in a statement that it will resume scheduled and unscheduled flights between the two countries, in coordination with civil aviation authorities and national airlines in the UAE.
This comes within the framework of the “Al-Ula Statement,” which includes the permanent solidarity agreement, which is “a Gulf and Arab achievement that strengthens the unity of the Gulf ranks,” according to the Emirates News Agency.

Earlier in the day, the Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Khaled Abdullah Belhoul, said that his country would begin to end all measures taken towards Doha, according to the statement issued on June 5, 2017.
He added that the UAE will work to reopen all land, sea and air ports for incoming and outgoing movement, and that the relevant authorities in the country have been instructed with these measures, which will be activated as of January 9.
