David Warner’s wife Candice has one of the most incredible figures around.

And speaking to Daily Mail Australia this week as she promoted ABC’s Reading Eggs, the former Ironwoman revealed the secrets to her ripped physique.

The 35-year-old blonde bombshell said that she eats clean and trains mean, but doesn’t mind having the odd sweet treat or glass of wine on occasion.

For Candice, it’s ‘all about a balance,’ and she added that she uses exercise to help clear her mind.

‘When it comes to eating, it’s all about a balance,’ Candice said.

‘I try to eat as cleanly and as healthy as I can, but I do have a sweet tooth. If the girls have a couple of little biscuits, I’ll share with them,’ the mother-of-three admitted.

HOW SHE DOES IT

-For Candice, it’s ‘all about a balance,’ and she added that uses exercise to help clear her mind

– She said she isn’t afraid to indulge her sweet tooth and often tucks into biscuits, ice cream and a glass of wine

-Candice said that when it comes to exercising, she enjoys hitting the gym or going for a walk with a weighted vest

‘If they’re having an ice cream on a hot summer’s day, I’ll have that. I do like to have a glass of wine with my husband. So everything in moderation. I’m not, “you can’t do this, can’t have that. For myself, I can’t sustain it.’

Candice said that when it comes to exercising, she enjoys hitting the gym or going for a walk with a weighted vest on and loves the mental benefits of exercise.

‘Last year, I was focused on getting stronger and fitter for SAS Australia and now it’s just about maintaining the workload I did last year, so it’s about having fun training,’ Candice explained.

‘I’m doing a lot more walks, sometimes I’ll put a 10kg or 15kg weight vest on and go for a walk, or just training in the gym. For me, exercise is more what it does to me mentally than what it does physically.’

Candice says she clears her mind with exercise and feels like a ‘better mother and wife’ afterwards.

‘It’s my time away from the kids, I need that break, and it’s a time I don’t have my phone on me, it’s just me and my own thoughts and a lot of time it’s where I do my brainstorming and thinking as I’m not clouded and I can really just focus on where I need to,’ she refreshingly said.

‘Afterwards, I feel like I’m a better mum and wife… mentally I need it [exercise].’

Candice recently completed a stint on the gruelling military-style reality show, SAS Australia, and impressed fans with her efforts.

She told Daily Mail Australia this week that it was ‘one of the best experiences of her life,’ despite it being both physically and mentally draining.

‘When I first signed up for SAS, I thought what a great challenge for me. And when I started training I thought all I wanted to do was inspire my kids and show them that anything is possibly and mummy is strong and all that stuff,’ she explained.

‘But it wasn’t until the show aired and the amount of support I got from men and women, not just from our country but other countries that viewed the show.

She added: ‘I didn’t ever anticipate that, how much support, the out poor of messages of people opening their hearts to me and sharing their deepest secrets with me.’

The mother-of-three said she ‘grew so much’ thanks to the show, which also starred the likes of Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, Firass Dirani and Jackson Warne.

‘It was full on, but one of the best experiences of my life,’ she said.

‘I grew so much as a person. I grew so much from it, knowing it is okay to be vulnerable at times, it is okay to let your walls down if you’ve been hurt.’
