Washington Wizards has officially announced the hiring of Jordan Schakel, who joins the discipline of the capital with an ‘Exhibit 10’ contract.
The forward, who was not picked in the 2021 draft, comes to the Wizards after completing a four-year college stint at San Diego State. During the last season he left an average of 14.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal, numbers that he completed with an excellent 46.1% from the three-point line.
Regarding your options to continue in the roster beyond the training camp, they go through achieving the two-way contract that is free. If he doesn’t succeed, he would always have the opportunity to join the G League affiliate team, the Capital City Go-Go. If he stayed there for at least 60 days, he would pocket a bonus of $ 50,000.
The truth is that the Washington squad is practically closed. They currently have 14 guaranteed contracts and, except for surprise, the 15th will be occupied by Daniel Gafford, who would have the aforementioned status as of January 7, 2022.
