English Tottenham suffered its first loss at the hands of Turkish Galatasaray 2-3, today, Thursday, in the fourth round of the European Football League (Europa League).
The Turkish team owes its credit to Nigerian top scorer Victor Osimhen, who scored the second and third goals (31st and 39th minute), after taking the lead thanks to Yunus Akgün (6th minute) and Adil Will Lancashire (18th minute) before he was later sent off (60th minute), while substitute Dominic Solanke smoothed the score. (Minute 69).
Tottenham was sharing the lead with Italian Lazio and Belgian Anderlecht before their subsequent matches, after collecting 9 points from the first 3 matches.
The loss comes after two remarkable victories, the first over Manchester City 2-1 in the League Cup, and the second over Aston Villa 4-1 in the league.
On the other hand, Galatasaray continued its series of victories, which reached 5 in various competitions, and achieved its third victory in the competition, temporarily rising to the lead.
Akgün opened the scoring in a wonderful way, after shooting a ball “on the fly” from outside the penalty area to the left of the goal (minute 6).

Osimhen gave the Turkish team the lead again with a focused shot from inside the penalty area, following a smart pass from Belgian Dries Mertens (31st minute), who also made the third with a cross that the Nigerian followed successfully (39th minute).
Australian Postecoglou began to introduce the main players in the second half, but he suffered a new blow when Lancashire was sent off with a second yellow card (minute 60).
Substitute Sonlanke was able to overcome the deficit with a wonderful back-heel shot after a cross from Spaniard Pedro Porro (minute 69).

Moroccan Hakim Ziyech, who was excluded from Walid Regragui’s squad for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers (73rd minute), entered with the aim of securing the fourth, but his team was content with the goals it scored.
Omar Marmoush continues to shine

A disappointing draw for Roma
Italian Roma continued its disappointing results, as it fell into a 1-1 draw with its Belgian host, Saint-Geloise.
The Italian capital team raised its score to 5 points, compared to only two points for its host.
