Doha- The defending champion Qatar, the hosts, defeated its Lebanese counterpart 3-0 in the opening match of the 18th edition of the tournament. Asian Football Cup Today, Friday, in the presence of a large crowd of more than 82 thousand fans.

After the opening ceremony, the match was held at Lusail Stadium, which hosted the historic final between world champion Argentina and runner-up France for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
