Watford were relegated on the final day of the Premier League season after a 3-1 defeat by Arsenal and the club captain hinted he may have played his last game.

Deeney was the subject of interest from Tottenham earlier in the transfer window this summer
The striker has only played one minute of the Hornet’s Championship campaign this season and could attract top flight clubs given his experience in the division.
Deeney has scored 43 goals in 163 Premier League appearances.
His team-mate Andre Gray could also be on his way out of Vicarage Road. Gray only managed two goals in 23 league appearances last season.
Gray has not featured for the Hornets this season since their relegation to the Championship

Watford are also looking to make additions to their squad before the EFL transfer deadline.
They have asked about Cardiff left-back Joe Bennett and Leeds left-back Barry Douglas who is wanted by Blackburn.
