Watford will allow Danny Welbeck leave the club on free transfer this month.
The former England international is among the highest earners at Vicarage Road taking home in the region of £100,000-per-week and the club are prepared to let Welbeck leave without a fee.
The Premier League and EFL can do business with each other up until October 16 and Welbeck’s availability on a free could attract top-flight teams.

Welbeck is a popular figure at Watford but the club recognise the attraction of continuing his Premier League career.
He hasn’t played this season, but played an important role towards the back end of last season as Watford came within a whisker of top-flight survival.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker has attracted interest from the likes of Southampton and Crystal Palace in recent weeks.
He scored two goals in 18 Premier League appearances last season but is yet to play for Watford in the Championship this season.
