We will prepare our young people to face the new challenges in automotive matters: Tere Jiménez

Governor Tere Jiménez endorsed her support for the young people of Aguascalientes and said that she will work tirelessly to offer them tools that allow them to acquire outstanding skills during their educational process.

When inaugurating the National Engineering Summit organized by the Technological Institute of Aguascalientes (ITA), Tere Jiménez recognized the work that this higher education institution has done so that its students stand out in the world of engineering.

Likewise, he encouraged the students to train themselves day by day and put the greatest effort into their academic training, in such a way that they respond to the demand of the labor market, which today requires professionals with profiles oriented to the engineering.

“In Aguascalientes there are many investments focused on this sector that represent more opportunities for our local talent. We want you to be at the forefront for more companies to come, even for you to be the creators of your own companies, because I know that there are young people who have many ideas; and these ideas and their dreams are ours too”, he mentioned.

In this forum, which will take place from November 16 to 18, 25 universities from all over the country participate with the theme: “Industrializing the automotive sector.”

During the event, the National Association of Faculties and Schools of Engineering recognized ITA for reaching the category of “Institutions, faculties, consolidated schools with international recognition, for the benefit of engineering training in Mexico.”

Present at the inaugural event were Lorena Martínez Rodríguez, general director of the Institute of Education of Aguascalientes (IEA); Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, Secretary of State Economic Development; Jesús Mario Flores Verduzco, director of the ITA; Pedro Hugo Gracia González, director of the Aguascalientes Industrial Cluster; Armando Ávila Moreno, former president of Nissan; as well as authorities of the industrial sector.
