Wesley Hoedt and Sofiane Boufal both set for Southampton exit in late deadline day moves as Guido Carrillo completes free move to Elche
Following Guido Carrillo’s free transfer move to Elche, two more Southampton exits are set to be confirmed before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
Defender Wesley Hoedt’s loan move to Lazio, with an option to buy, and winger Sofiane Boufal’s loan return to Angers, the club where he began his career, are poised to be completed.
Carillo joined Southampton in January 2018 but the striker made just ten appearances before being sent on loan to Leganes.

Hoedt, meanwhile, joined Southampton in 2017 and has played 45 times for the club but headed out on loan to Celta Vigo prior to a spell with Royal Antwerp.
Boufal was Southampton’s record signing when he joined in 2016 and the Morocco international has played 84 times for the Saints but has scored just five goals.
He had a spell on loan at Celta Vigo in the 2018-19 campaign.
Sofiane Boufal is also prepared to head on loan again as he looks set for a return to Angers
