Company operates Apple A new feature has been added to iPhones that uses artificial intelligence to generate responses to text messages and emails on your behalf, according to The Sun.
This feature will be known as (Smart Reply) and is part of the “Apple Intelligence” project that came with the “iOS 18” update.
You can find the Smart Reply feature within the Messages app and Apple’s Mail app, which will make replying much faster.
When you receive a message asking you something, the Smart Reply feature will provide several quick answers for you to choose from, and then it will create a complete response that you can send immediately.
For example, you might receive a message from your friend asking you to go somewhere, or asking you whether you are driving your car or taking a taxi?
Here, the smart response panel will provide you with many options that match the question, and you can choose one of them, then compose the message and send the response.
The rule from Apple says that the more complex the original message, the more useful and time-saving the Smart Reply feature.
Apple explains about using the Smart Reply feature in the email application, which will allow you to write a quick response, mentioning all the details you need. Apple’s intelligence can recognize the questions asked in the email and provide relevant options to include in your response, according to The Sun website.
Requirements for the Smart Reply feature on iPhone?
To use the Apple Intelligence Smart Reply feature, you will first need an iPhone that supports the latest version of iOS 18.
On the other hand, you will need a powerful processor to run “Apple Intelligence,” and this means that it will work on “iPhone 15 Pro” devices and later (it will not work on the iPhone 15) in addition to all versions of “iPhone 16.”
Do not forget that if your phone is set to American English, the Smart Reply feature will arrive in the iOS 18.1 update, while if it is set to British English, this feature will not arrive until iOS 18.2, which will be released in December. Next December, according to expectations.

How to use the Smart Reply feature on iPhone?
