For those choosing to dine out this Thanksgiving, several San Antonio restaurants will be open, offering a variety of special holiday menus, from traditional feasts to unique culinary creations. Diners are encouraged to plan and make reservations in advance, as many venues expect high demand.
Here is a selection of restaurants offering Thanksgiving meals, specials, and buffets:
Boudro’s Texas Bistro
The restaurant will offer a three-course Thanksgiving meal for $65 per adult and $30 per child, in addition to its regular menu. Located at 421 E. Commerce St., Boudro’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Corinne San Antonio
Located at the Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa, Corinne will host a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $69 per adult and $17 per child. The buffet will include a carving station with turkey and ham, mac and cheese, and more. A plated dinner featuring maple-glazed turkey will be served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for $55 per person. The restaurant is at 555 S. Alamo St.
Dean’s Steak & Seafood
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the restaurant inside the Kimpton Santo hotel will serve a stuffed turkey breast entrée for $45 per person. The meal features a turkey roulade with fingerling potatoes and herbs, baked stuffing, and house-made cranberry compote. Dean’s is located at 431 S. Alamo St.
Dorrego’s
At the Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, Dorrego’s will offer a Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes achiote-rubbed turkey, prime rib, and the restaurant’s signature paella. The hotel is located at 150 E. Houston St.
Jim’s Restaurants
All locations will operate during normal hours, serving a Thanksgiving plate for $11.99. The meal includes roasted turkey with creamy mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, and green beans.
Jots Restaurant
Located in the Gunter Hotel at 311 N. St. Mary’s St., Jots will feature a Cajun turkey Thanksgiving plate from Monday, Nov. 24, through Friday, Nov. 28. The dish includes crispy seared turkey breast glazed with bourbon-cane syrup, served with andouille cornbread stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes, and a cranberry chipotle compote.
Luby’s
The cafeteria will serve its Thanksgiving Day Special for $13.99. The plate includes carved turkey, two sides, a dinner roll, and a holiday dessert.
Mi Tierra Café
Guests can choose between traditional or Mexican-style dishes in a three-course Thanksgiving meal. The special is priced at $22.95 for adults and $14.95 for children. The restaurant will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saltgrass Steak House
The steakhouse will offer a Thanksgiving dinner for $23.99, available for dine-in only. The meal consists of roasted turkey breast with dressing, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce, plus a choice of soup or salad.
Tributary San Antonio
Located at the Marriott San Antonio Rivercenter on the River Walk, Tributary will host an elegant Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu includes breakfast classics, cider-brined turkey breast, and smoked bacon mac and cheese. Tickets are $96.71 for adults and $38.95 for children 12 and under.
