Burnley’s manager Sean Dyche has been spotted seemingly ignoring a blizzard to stroll onto the pitch wearing just a shirt as brazen women in Leeds were seen baring all for a bone-chilling night out.

Mr Dyche was seen stepping onto Turf Moor in Burnley before his team’s match against Tottenham Hotspur was postponed due to snow.

The manager could be seen casually walking on to the pitch while flurries of snowflakes bluster through the sky.

Other workers around him were seen wearing jackets and coats whereas the Burnley manager looked completely unaffected by the brutal temperatures, which plunged to -10C in some parts of the UK as Storm Arwen continues to batter the country.

Revellers in Leeds took to the streets in all their finery, despite the treacherous weather across Yorkshire.

Many people in parts of Leeds, Halifax and Calder Valley were without power yesterday because of the storm.

There had also been travel disruption and fallen trees because of strong winds and snow but that did not deter determined revellers from going out.

Some wrapped up in coats in an attempt to keep warm as temperatures dropped to just 30F (-1C) in Leeds last night.

But not everyone did, with some of the more foolhardy opting to not wear coats and smiling through gritted teeth.

One brave reveller wore a skimpy pink dress, bare legs and heels while she linked arms with her friend who had wrapped up in a jacket.

Others opted to drape their jackets across their shoulders or wore blazers as they strolled around the city centre.

As the wind whipped around them, a group of revellers in sailor hats clutched onto each other for dear life in their attire, complete with sailor skirts, socks and trainers.

But they did opt for coats unlike some others, while a man in a Hawaii-style shirt and sunglasses strolled behind them.

Partying and chatting, those in Leeds still managed to have fun and gathered to talk in the sub-zero conditions.

Queues for nightclubs were as long as any Saturday night with no sign of any partygoers concerned about the new coronavirus variant Omicron.

People laughed as they waited in their finery, giggling with their friends and talking to each other.

There seemed to be no concerns about social distancing as queues snaked round venues as normal.
