Phil Foden is the luckiest charm in the Premier League, Frank Lampard may wish to stick with Marcos Alonso, while Adrian and Timothy Fosu-Mensah have more influence than you’d think.
Manchester City win 85 per cent of matches when 20-year-old rising star Foden is selected by Pep Guardiola, according to detailed research.
Despite lingering doubts over his reliability, Liverpool win 84.6 per cent of the time when Adrian is wearing the gloves.

And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may want to promote Fosu-Mensah into his team because Manchester United have won 11 of 16 games he has featured in.
At Chelsea, Alonso may get fewer opportunities these days but the figures show he wins almost two-thirds of Premier League games he is involved in.
And over at Arsenal, Mohamed Elneny is their most influential when it comes to his win percentage.
The research by bettingexpert.com looked at every player who has featured in more than five Premier League matches for their current club and how many of those games ended in success.

It found that England international Foden had the highest win percentage at 85 per cent, closely followed by Liverpool keeper Adrian at 84.6.
Man City defenders Aymeric Laporte (82 per cent) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (81 per cent) are the next highest with Liverpool’s first-choice keeper Alisson Becker rounding out the top five with 80 per cent.
Over at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have won 76 of the 116 league games Alonso has played in during his time with the club (65.5 per cent) but the omens are good for Lampard given his replacement Ben Chilwell has a 60 per cent win record, albeit from just five games.

Eric Bailly has the best win percentage out of Manchester United’s central defensive options
At Man United, Fosu-Mensah has a win percentage of 68.8 per cent whenever he gets a chance, with forgotten striker Odion Ighalo not far behind on 66.7.
And in food for thought as Solskjaer looked for a stronger central defensive pairing is Eric Bailly’s win percentage of 64.3, much higher than any of the other options.
The figures also show that United are much sturdier when Nemanja Matic is in their midfielder. United have won 53 of 89 games the Serbian has played in, or 59.6 per cent.
Aside from Elneny, whose 51 league games have resulted in 31 wins, Rob Holding is statistically their lucky charm in defence with a 59.1 per cent win record.
