(FOX40.COM) — The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a wind advisory for the Delta, Southern Sacramento Valley, and Central Sacramento Valley starting tonight and into early Sunday.
Residents in the Sacramento area can expect winds coming in from the north between 15 mph to 25 mph leading with gusts up to 45 mph.
According to the National Weather Service, the impact will start at 2 a.m. on Saturday and end around 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Officials said that the wind will impact the loose objects that are outside resulting in them blowing around. The wind may create difficult driving conditions, some tree branches may come down, and power outages may occur.
