A girl has died after being discovered unconscious after ‘extreme hearth’ broke out at a two-storey home within the West Midlands.
West Midlands Fireplace Service mentioned it responded to experiences of a home hearth in Harvest Street, Smethwick, at 4.35am on Saturday.
4 hearth engines and 19 firefighters responded, from Oldbury, West Bromwich, Woodgate Valley and Smethwick hearth stations.

The service described the incident as ‘a extreme hearth which affected the entire semi-detached home’.
A girl believed to be in her 30s, who was discovered unconscious in a bed room and rescued by firefighters, was confirmed lifeless shortly afterwards.
A person and a lady, believed to be of their 50s, have been led to security and given first help by hearth crews.
They have been taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
Taxi driver Ashmetullah Faizy, 38, raised the alarm after seeing the flames when he bought again from work at round 4am.
Talking to Express and Star, he described the scene: ‘It was about 4.10am, I simply got here out of labor and I simply parked the automotive and went upstairs.
‘As quickly as I did that, I see from the window, I discover a lightweight. I rapidly got here down the steps, opened the door and noticed the hearth.
‘I used to be the primary particular person to ring 999. So I rang 999 immediately and I went and knocked their doorways as a result of they have been upstairs.
‘Then the husband has come out and the hearth was getting actually unhealthy.
‘I used to be on the telephone with 999 and mainly the hearth began breaking the home windows, every little thing.
‘I knocked the opposite doorways of the neighbour as a result of they’ve children, telling them to get out of the home.’
The hearth service added: ‘Our ideas are with them and everybody affected by this incident.

‘The hearth was confirmed to be out by 6.20am and, an hour later, our sources on the scene have been scaled down to 1 hearth engine.
‘Investigators from West Midlands Fireplace Service can be working with police colleagues to determine how the hearth began.’
