Work on an honorable exchange option for CDMX: Kenia López Rabadán

In an interview, the member of the legislative fraction of the PAN in the Senate of the Republic affirmed that the people of the capital have already decided that the party of the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, should not continue to govern. “In the 2021 (intermediate) elections, they have already shown that they will not continue to accompany Morena.”

The legislator indicated that she is working on the construction of a clear, honorable option for change that allows the residents of the capital to have better living conditions.

He explained that the national political councils of the PAN, PRI and PRD have already approved that Acción Nacional lead the process for the selection of the candidate of that alliance for the head of government of Mexico City in 2024.

This represents a recognition of the institutional strength of the PAN in the city and a great opportunity to generate a great alliance with the parties and with the citizenry, he highlighted.

The PAN member explained that the agreement was that the PRI is responsible for leading the candidacies of Coahuila and the State of Mexico and the PAN, the election of the candidate for the Head of Government of the capital of the country and for the presidency of the Republic, abounded

According to the senator, it will be through transparent and open methods, so that it is possible for citizens to join in, in addition to the parties.

He said that the objective is to team up with the citizens who want to stop the populism represented by the Morena governments, which hurts the capital so much, as well as to install a team that knows how to solve public problems in the old City Hall.

In the 2024 elections, Mexico City is going to abandon Morena and her allies because they are already tired of negligent and corrupt governments.

López Rabadán assured that the balance of the first four years of the Morena government, in Mexico City, is an evident lack of knowledge of the Public administration.

Clearly there are three serious problems suffered by the inhabitants of the country’s capital: insecurity, deficiencies in public transport systems and roads, and corruption, he explained.

In this sense, he denounced that there is a deterioration of the capital due to lack of maintenance and management capacity. Proof of this, he indicated, is what is happening in the Metro Collective Transportation System.

He stressed that the 29 people killed in Metro accidents during the current administration are the strongest argument for demanding that Claudia Sheinbaum behave as head of government and not as a candidate.

In his opinion, the problem derives from the fact that spending is exercised in an inefficient manner, which results in key areas not being allocated resources.

What happened in the last hours and days in the Metro, he insisted, shows that the Head of Government, “should take care of making a good public administration in this capital, which she does not do to think about her next political aspirations.

The unfortunate thing, he added, is that they do not intend to give results, but to co-opt to win the following elections.

For the legislator, proof of the poor results of the head of government are the more than 5,000 murders that have occurred in the city during the last four years and the high number of forced disappearances. “10% of all the disappearances that are registered in the country, occur in the capital and that is terrible.”

On the other hand, he affirmed that the fact that the head of government is perceived as the darling of the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, even to succeed him in office, instead of benefiting the city, has harmed him, because the only thing that has generated It is that he is thinking about his next position and not about solving the problems.

For this reason, he opined that the head of government should resign now, “because she is hurting the city, which deteriorates more every day due to her negligence and incompetence.
