X70 and X70 Plus, Jetour SUVs for Mexico

A new Chinese competitor arrived in our country. LDR, the same importer that distributes Foton commercial vehicles, will be in charge of directing its operations. As of April 15, they will open the doors of their first 16 distributors, but their goal will be to reach 26 distributed in Mexico City, Puebla, Querétaro, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Saltillo, Torreo, Tijuana, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Morelia, León, Celaya , Irapuato, among others.

The brand also highlighted that the engines will have a 10-year or 1 million-kilometer warranty as well as a 7-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty for the rest of the components.

X70

This is the ticket offer. With an interior configuration for 7 passengers and three rows of seats, this model is 4,720 millimeters long by 1,900 millimeters wide and has a wheelbase of 2,720 millimeters. The engine is a 1.5-liter displacement four-cylinder with turbocharged aspiration mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It develops 145 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque. The suspension is multilink.

Among its equipment are 20 “aluminum wheels, panoramic roof, electrically operated trunk, led lights for the skulls and daytime, as well as folding mirrors.

Its price is 489,900 pesos.

X70 Plus

This version is the most equipped in addition to having a more powerful direct injection engine. Its dimensions are slightly larger with 4,749 millimeters in length, a wheelbase of 2,745 millimeters, and an overall width of 1,900 millimeters. This translates into an interior with greater habitability that is perceived mainly in the front seats and in the second row. The third is designed for people of short stature.

The dashboard design looks even more sophisticated than its younger sister, highlighting the style of the air vents, the digital instrument cluster, and the knobs on the center console. It shares exterior elements such as the 20” aluminum wheels, the panoramic roof, the rails on the roof and the same configuration for the led lights.

The engine is a 4-cylinder with 1,600 cubic centimeters of displacement that delivers 194 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque. The box is double clutch with seven relations. The price of the X70 Plus is 629,900 pesos.

Dashing

Already confirmed for Mexico, this SUV has the sportiest look and the most disruptive interior design of the brand. Without further technical details, the floating central screen, a digital instrument cluster and a steering wheel with a sportier style stand out. It will be available in June with a price of 690,000 pesos.
