If you want to know why this works, it’s an example of Bernoulli’s Principle – the faster air moves, the lower its pressure, meaning high-pressure air keeps the ping pong ball within the column of low pressure air. The ball stays stationary at the point the force of gravity and the force of the air reach the same level. Science!
