New Collaboration Brew “Yeli’s Gold Coast 22” Debuts at Am Fam Field
Tropical ale crafted by Leinenkugel’s and Brewers’ Christian Yelich hits taps July 7
MILWAUKEE — A taste of the California coast is arriving at American Family Field this week with the release of Yeli’s Gold Coast 22, a new tropical ale created through a collaboration between Leinenkugel’s brewer Corrine Georges and Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich. The beer debuts Monday, July 7, as the Brewers take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at 6:40 p.m., with pours available at the J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard brewhouse in the ballpark’s left-field corner.
Brewed as part of an ongoing series pairing Georges with Brewers players, the 5.25% ABV ale features notes of coconut and pineapple, nodding to Yelich’s Southern California upbringing. The limited-edition beer will be offered as a 16-ounce draft on game days, while 32-ounce commemorative crowlers will be sold during non-game days.
Yelich joined Georges in the Barrel Yard’s pilot brewery—adjacent to the Brewers’ main merchandise store—to develop the beer’s flavor profile and participate in the brewing process. The All-Star outfielder assisted in mashing, yeast pitching, and other key steps, showcasing his hands-on role in the project.
“This partnership reflects the spirit of creativity we embrace here,” said Georges, highlighting the synergy between baseball and craft beer culture. Fans can savor the crisp, tropical ale at the ballpark or take home a crowler, blending Brewers pride with Wisconsin’s storied brewing tradition.
