The Houthi “Ansar Allah” movement in Yemen accused the Arab coalition of carrying out air strikes on areas under its control in the governorates of Hodeidah, Hajjah, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and Marib.
Al-Masirah TV, the movement’s spokesperson, reported that the coalition carried out 8 raids on Al-Hudaydah governorate, the axis of the Sweden agreement that the government and the movement reached in late 2018.
It added that the members of the movement monitored the flight of 30 reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the city of Hodeidah and the areas of Kilo 16, Al-Faza, Al-Jabaliya and Al-Jah, and the cities of At-Tuhayat and Al-Durayhimi, in central, eastern and southern Hodeidah.
It indicated that the air strikes and overflight came among 138 violations carried out by the coalition and the Yemeni joint forces of the government in Hodeidah during the past 24 hours, 22 of which were carried out with missile and artillery shelling, and 79 violations with various bullets.
The channel pointed out that the coalition renewed its targeting of Hajjah governorate, northwest of Yemen, with 5 raids distributed over the city of Haradh and Hayran district northwest of Hajjah, the day after they were exposed to 4 similar raids.
It added that the coalition warplanes launched 4 raids on the border province of Al-Jawf with Saudi Arabia, targeting the Al-Marazeeq area in the Khub Al-Sha`af district, east of Al-Jawf, while Al-Bayda governorate in central Yemen was subjected to three raids that affected the Qayfah area northwest of Al-Bayda.
It indicated that the coalition’s raids extended to the Marib Governorate, northeast of Yemen, where the coalition carried out two raids on the Medghal district northwest of Marib.
