“Yonhap” agency reported that North Korea has not yet announced whether it has launched the work of the ruling Workers’ Party conference scheduled for early this month.
According to the agency, Pyongyang is expected to reveal its policy line toward the United States and South Korea during the conference.
North Korea announced earlier that it would hold the Eighth Conference of the ruling Workers’ Party in early January for the first time in more than four years, and state media reported that the delegates had arrived in Pyongyang to participate in the meeting.
