A youthful zebra, who reportedly misplaced both equally of his parents a short while ago, escaped a zoo and spent a few several hours galloping close to the South Korean capital this week, movies show.

The animal, named Sero, escaped from his enclosure Thursday afternoon in Seoul, just after breaking through wooden fences surrounding his pen, according to South Korea’s Yonhap Information Agency.

The animal’s behavior changed after both of his mothers and fathers died, zoo officers said in January, for each The Korea Herald.

Born in captivity in 2021, Sero began refusing to take in the apples and carrots he at the time loved immediately after his parents’ loss of life, the Washington Post documented. Captured, nutritious and back home

Sero was sedated and captured at about 6 p.m., area firefighters who aided in the chase said.

Law enforcement and crisis personnel managed to corner the zebra following it entered a narrow alleyway involving houses and shot it with tranquilizers, ending its a few hours of independence.

There have been no quick reports of injuries or home harm caused by the zebra functioning loose.

He is nutritious and is now back again in his enclosure, Choi Ye-ra, an official at the Children’s Grand Park in Seoul.

The zebra was in steady issue and currently being examined by veterinarians as of Thursday night, Ye-ra explained.
