No new local cases of Covid-19 have been found in New South Wales despite fears a hotel quarantine guard could have spread the UK strain of the virus across Sydney.
Three community cases of the deadly respiratory virus have already been genomically linked to an outbreak of cases at the Sofitel Wentworth Hotel in the city’s CBD.
NSW Health though on Thursday announced zero cases of community transmission from 14,049 coronavirus tests overnight.
