In a new development in the protracted transfer negotiations between Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, the Italian club has reportedly proposed a revised deal to acquire forward Randal Kolo Muani ahead of Monday’s summer transfer deadline.
According to reports from Le Parisien, later confirmed by Sky Sport Italia, Juventus is now pursuing a season-long loan for the French international. Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio further specified the proposal as a “very expensive loan with an obligation to buy linked to certain conditions.”
This revised structure is reportedly driven by Financial Fair Play considerations, as Juventus contends with limited financial flexibility. The club is still committed to Dušan Vlahović’s Serie A-high €12 million net salary for the season, which impacts its budget for permanent transfers.
Under the proposed loan, Juventus would likely be responsible for most, if not all, of Kolo Muani’s substantial salary, estimated by La Gazzetta dello Sport to be around €8 million net per season.
When questioned about the potential transfer at the Champions League draw, Juventus official Damien Comolli remained circumspect. “There are still many things that can happen until Monday evening. We will do everything possible to improve the squad,” he stated. Comolli declined to comment directly on Kolo Muani, who remains a PSG player despite reportedly not training with the squad since they returned from their post-Club World Cup break.
