On Wednesday, the Houthis announced the killing of 15 soldiers of their forces, most of them officers, in confrontations with the Yemeni army backed by the Arab coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia.
The Houthi-affiliated “Saba” agency reported that Sanaa held a funeral procession for the bodies of a group of military leaders.
It said that the funerals of Colonel Tariq Sinan Alban, Colonel Bashir Hassan Al Marani, Colonel Muhammad Al Sagheer Al Radhi, Lieutenant Colonel Qassem Salah Al Soudi, Lieutenant Colonel Yahya Saleh Al Khaldi, Major Muhammad Ali Soufan, Major Abdul Jalil Al Khatib, Captain Zayed Hamoud Al Jaradi, and Lieutenant Jalal Abdo Al Moayad First Lieutenant Ali Abdullah Al-Murtada, Lieutenant Thani Abdul Rahman Al-Joubi, Assistant Issam Nasser Al-Haifi, Assistant Muhammad Ali Al-Jamrah, Assistant Naseeb Abdullah Taher, and Assistant Mahmoud Ali Duwaid.
She indicated that the funeral ceremony took place in the Al-Shaab Mosque in the capital Sana’a.
