On Thursday, the “Popular Mobilization Authority” in Iraq announced that one of its members had been killed and two federal police wounded in an attack by “ISIS” in the north of the country.
In a press release, the authority stated that “the fighter in the 56th Brigade, Muhammad Abbar, was martyred, and two members of the Federal Police were injured while confronting the exposure by ISIS terrorist remnants in Hawija district in Kirkuk governorate.”
She added, “The 56th Brigade and the Federal Police were able after that to repel the attack.”
