An 18-year-old Massachusetts kayaker was safe Tuesday night after being rescued by authorities in Boston Harbor. Jimmy Dallta was paddling out near Deer Island and said three foot waves capsized his boat. He said he was clinging on to his kayak, waiting to be rescued.”A lot of water in the kayak,” Dallta said. “Then it flipped over. I was on top of the kayak. I held on to it, called 911.”Dallta said a man traveling in a sailboat in the area picked him up. He was brought to the yacht club in South Boston after he was rescued and was fine. His kayak appeared to be undamaged.Dallta said he’s going to take a break from paddling for a little while.
