Days of minor movements in the Windy City. After recently closing the hires of Stanley Johnson, Alize Johnson and Matt Thomas, the Chicago Bulls have signed Ethan Thompson to participate in the training camp, as reported by journalist Keith Smith.
The 22-year-old forward was not selected in the 2021 draft and will now compete for a spot in the roster of Illinois or the last available dual contract, the first being in the hands of Devon Dotson.
Thompson had previously been on the Bulls roster during the Las Vegas Summer League, where he averaged 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds. He previously completed his four years of college at Oregon State. In the last record 15.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
