Sega has confirmed Yakuza: Like a Dragon’s PS5 release date in the west, while also slightly adjusting its release date on all other platforms.
Like a Dragon is now set to launch on Xbox Series X and S, PS4, and PC on November 10. This date is a slight adjustment from the previously announced November 13 launch date, but that date came with an asterisk, as Yakuza has been planned as an Xbox Series launch game before Xbox’s next-gen consoles were given a release date. Now, it will hit both Xbox’s next-gen systems and current-gen hardware, as well as PC, on the same day.

The next Yakuza, however, will not hit the PS5 until March 2, 2021 in the west for $59.99. Sega did not give a reason for the delayed launch, and IGN has reached out for clarification. We’ll update this story should they respond. Those who purchase Like a Dragon digitally on PS4, though, will receive a free upgrade to the PS5 version, as is the case on the Xbox One to Xbox Series X and S versions.
Earlier this year, Sega detailed the English dub of the game, and among the English cast is legendary actor George Takei. If you’re looking to preorder the game, be sure to check out what comes in each edition of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
